GoldKey Services commenced operations in 2006 and was founded by Mr. Crishan Perera, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the food service industry. Prior to establishing GoldKey Services, Mr. Perera spent many years in the sector, bringing with him over two decades of industry experience, including 19 years dedicated to building and growing his own organization.

In its early years, GoldKey Services operated as the HORECA distribution arm for Kotmale Holdings. Following the acquisition of Kotmale Holdings by Cargills PLC, the product portfolio offered to HORECA customers expanded significantly to include well-known brands such as the Kist range, Saras meat range, and others. Subsequent fresh investments also led to a substantial expansion of the Kotmale product range, with the introduction of several new products.

In 2012, Mr. Sadik Mohamed joined the company as a partner after several years of association with GoldKey Services. His entry marked a significant milestone, further strengthening the organization and contributing to its steady and sustained growth.
